2 arrested in morning Kentucky raidA multi-agency drug raid at a house on East 18th Street carried out this morning by officers of the Hopkinsville, Kentucky Police Department Special Investigation Unit, Christian County Jail DART team and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force netted two arrests on a variety of drug-related offenses.
Arrested by Kentucky officers this morning in the 6:36 a.m. raid were Thomas E. Weaver, 34, of Edmund Street and Christopher L. Taylor, 18, of Younglove Street.
According to Kentucky police reports, marijuana, cocaine residue, crack cocaine and a stolen gun were found at the house.
Weaver was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen property and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Taylor was charged with possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property (firearm).
